Sour Milk Cheese Spread with Garlic and Dill

This aromatic sour-milk cheese spread will be a great alternative to store-bought pâtés and complement any breakfast or snack. It is very easy to prepare, and the delicate taste and spicy note of garlic will make this dish a real hit.

Ingredients

  • Garlic: 2 cloves
  • Dill: 50 g
  • Sour cream (at least 20% fat): 4 tbsp. l.
  • Sour milk cheese: 200–250 g
  • Olive oil: 1–2 tbsp. l.
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper: to your taste

Preparation of spread

Prepare all the ingredients. Peel the garlic and crush it with the flat side of a knife. Wash the dill thoroughly with cold water and dry with a paper towel.

Cut the dill into large pieces, put it in a blender along with garlic and a pinch of salt. Grind until a homogeneous mass is obtained.

Preparing the spread

Add sour cream, cheese and olive oil to the blender bowl. Beat until smooth and uniform. Pepper and mix.

If the spread seems too thick, add a little more olive oil and mix again.
