Each family has its signature cake recipe, which was baked by our grandmothers, and that cake was the best in the world. Ours is a “Plombir” cake and you don’t even need an oven to prepare it.
Plombir cake – ingredients:
For the dough:
flour 250 g.
sugar 60 g.
butter (cold) 180 g.
Cream for cake “Plombir”:
2 eggs
sour cream 600 g
sugar 150 g
vanilla sugar 1 tsp
butter 50 g.
starch 2 tbsp. l
To decorate the “Plombir” cake:
coconut shavings 2 tbsp. l
Preparation:
Step 1
For a no-bake cake, mix all the dry ingredients for the dough in a bowl, mix. Then add butter (grated) and mix with your hands into crumbs;

Step 2
Fry the crumbs in a dry pan until golden, stirring constantly. We cool;

Step 3
For the cream of the “Plombir” cake, mix eggs, regular sugar and vanilla sugar in a mug. Stir with a whisk;
Step 4
Add starch and mix again;
Step 5
Add sour cream, mix again and put on the stove. Cook over low heat until thickened, stirring constantly
Step 6
We assemble the cake: we take a form without a bottom (like mine in the photo) and lay out layers of crumbs and cream, alternating. The first layer is crumb, the last is cream;

Step 7
Put in the fridge for the night.

In the morning, remove the form and decorate the “Plombir” cake with coconut shavings. Done!
Have a nice tea party!
