Fried Chicken: A Universal Dish for Any Side Dish

Tender meat with onions, nuts and spices is a simple and tasty idea for lunch

This fried chicken fillet is suitable for almost all side dishes – from potatoes to rice or pasta. Thanks to the combination of spices, nuts and fresh greens, the dish acquires a special aroma and tastes great both on weekdays and on the festive table.

For cooking you will need:

  • 3–4 chicken fillets,
  • one bulb,
  • a few walnuts,
  • a little flour,
  • a pinch of curry,
  • 50 ml of broth or water,
  • a few sprigs of cilantro
  • oil for frying.

How to cook roast chicken

Step 1

First, cut the onion into rings, roll in flour and shake off its excess. Fry over high heat until golden and transfer to a plate. Drain the excess oil from the pan.

How to cook fried chicken

Step 2

Fry strips of chicken fillet in the same pan until golden brown. Add the curry, chopped walnuts and a little stock or water. Reheat the dish for about five more minutes.

Step 3

Combine chicken with fried onions, sprinkle with fresh cilantro – and the dish is ready. It can be served on its own or as a tasty addition to your favorite side dish.
