A simple recipe for a pie with feta and gouda, which will surprise you with its crispy crust and delicate taste
This recipe is a real find for cheese connoisseurs. The pie turns out to be fragrant, with a delicate filling inside and a crispy golden crust. To keep the phyllo dough docile, cover it with a slightly damp waffle towel while cooking.
Ingredients:
- Filo dough 10 sheets
- Feta cheese 200 g
- Gouda cheese 200 g
- Eggs 4 pcs.
- Sunflower oil 60 ml
- Milk 120 ml
- Dried Italian herbs – a pinch
Make cheesecake on filo dough
Step 1
Grate Gouda cheese and mix with Italian herbs. Break the feta with your hands into small pieces. Divide the filo dough into two parts of five sheets each.
Step 2
In a large bowl, beat the eggs with the milk and oil until smooth.
Step 3
Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment. Evenly distribute the cheese filling on each part of the dough. Then carefully fold the dough with an accordion.
Step 4
Put the “accordions” with the filling in the form. Spread the remaining cheese on top. Pour the milk and egg mixture over the cake.
Step 5
Bake the cake in an oven heated to 180°C for 30-40 minutes until a golden crust appears.
