Turkey stuffed with mushrooms and cheese – soft, tender, with a juicy filling! A great option for an everyday dinner, because it is prepared quite simply, and for a festive feast, because the dish has a very impressive appearance! If you use porcini mushrooms, the dish will turn out to be especially tasty and aromatic.
Stuffed turkey – ingredients:
2 turkey breast fillets
dry mushrooms (white or champignons) 20 g
hard cheese 150 g
1 bulb for stuffed turkey
several sprigs of parsley
butter
salt to taste
Preparation:
Step 1.
For a delicious turkey with mushrooms and cheese, pour aromatic dry mushrooms with boiling water and leave for an hour. If you use fresh forest mushrooms, first boil them, then cut them quite finely and fry them with onions in oil.
Step 2.
Place the turkey breast fillet on a cutting board, cut it so that wide, flat layers of meat come out of the breast. Beat the breasts lightly, salt, rub pepper and butter on both sides.
Step 3.
To prepare a stuffed turkey, lay mushrooms and onions on layers of meat. Chop the greens and cut the cheese into pieces. Put parsley and cheese on the mushrooms and twist the fillet into a roll, securing the meat with toothpicks.
Step 4.
Send the turkey to the oven heated to 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
