Marinated lard for a day – ingredients:
Lard;
Salt;
Vinegar 6% + water in a ratio of 1:3;
Black pepper, fragrant, paprika;
Bay leaf and other spices for lard to your liking taste. nbsp; bsp; sp;
Preparation:
Step 1
You will need ordinary – fresh lard.
Cut the lard into slices slightly larger than the portions – up to 1 cm wide.
You can make them thicker – 2-3 cm or even more. But – then the cooking time for lard will be longer – about 2-3 days.

Step 2
Put in any container, glass, ceramic – not plastic.
Put a bay leaf on the bottom – depending on the quantity, 1-2 pcs.
Step 3
Sprinkle the slices with a mixture of peppers and salt.
Approximately 1 tbsp per 1 kg. salt – or to your taste. And vinegar – approximately 150-200 g.
Step 4
Prepare a marinade for lard quickly: dilute 6% vinegar with boiled and cooled water in a ratio of 1:3 – you can also use a ratio of 1:4 (for those who like a less spicy, more delicate taste).
Step 5
Pour the slices of lard with marinade so that they are completely covered.
Step 6
Cover the lard with a lid or cling film, put in the refrigerator for a day. If the slices are more than 1-2 cm – for a couple of days. At the same time, it is advisable to turn the slices over so that they marinate better.

Step 7
Remove the lard, do not wash it (we will lose the taste and acid) – just let the vinegar drain. You can dry it with a serving napkin.
If the marinated lard is not salty enough – at this stage, you can add a little salt, based on your taste.
Delicious!
