This recipe is a great alternative to traditional shish kebab. Thanks to the spicy yogurt marinade, the turkey meat is incredibly tender and juicy. It not only adds an exquisite taste, but also helps the meat to remain soft during frying.
Ingredients
- Turkey thigh fillet: 1 pc.
- Greek yogurt: 1 jar
- Ginger root: 2 cm
- Garlic: 2 cloves
- Turmeric: 1 tsp
- Ground coriander: 0.5 tsp
- Ground zira: 0.5 tsp
- Ground hot pepper: pinch
- Salt and black pepper: to your taste
Cooking turkey kebab
For the marinade, mix Greek yogurt with spices. Grate the ginger on a fine grater, and pass the garlic through a press. Add them to the marinade and mix thoroughly.
Cut the turkey fillet into medium pieces. Mix the meat with the marinade, knead well with your hands and leave to marinate for 3-4 hours.
Place pieces of meat on skewers.
Fry on hot coals, turning occasionally, until done.
