Chocolate Cake with Currants

This simple recipe will allow you to prepare a delicate chocolate cake, which goes well with the light sourness of currants. It will be ideal for a tea party or will be a great addition to the festive table.

Ingredients

  • Wheat flour: 120 g
  • Cocoa powder: 60 g
  • Salt: ¼ tsp
  • Baking agent: ½ tsp
  • Eggs: 2 pcs.
  • Vegetable oil: 60 ml
  • Sugar: 100 g
  • Milk: 120 ml
  • Currants: 200 g

Cooking chocolate cake with currants

In a large bowl, combine the sifted flour, cocoa powder, salt and baking powder. Mix well. In another container, beat eggs with oil, sugar and milk.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the liquid mixture, stirring gently to avoid lumps.

Pour the currants into the dough and mix again carefully.

Grease the baking dish with oil and place the dough in it, leveling it.

Send the cake to an oven preheated to 180°C for 30-35 minutes. Readiness can be checked with a toothpick.
