A multi-layered pancake is a culinary symbol of the Republic of Mari El and a star of local restaurants. Let’s try to cook this unusual dish together.
Ingredients for 3-4 portions
rye flour 80 g
2 eggs
salt to taste
butter for frying
oat flour 3 tbsp. l
sour milk 1 tbsp.
oat flakes or millet groats 1 tbsp.
sour cream 25% 1/2 tbsp.
Preparation:
Step 1
Prepare the top layer of pancakes in advance. To do this, mix oatmeal or millet groats with sour cream and sour milk and put it in the refrigerator for 8-10 hours.
Step 2
To make the first layer, mix eggs, flour and salt – you will get a thick dough. Then divide it into 3-4 parts and roll out thinly with a rolling pin.
Step 3
Fry the cakes in a pan greased with butter until golden brown. These pancakes will be the basis of the dish.
Step 4
While the pancakes are frying, prepare the second layer. To do this, mix oatmeal with sour milk to the state of thick sour cream. Spread the resulting mass cake and put it in the oven, heated to 180 ° C, for about 10 minutes – until a golden crust appears.
Step 5
Take out the previously prepared mixture for the top layer from the refrigerator and add a little more sour milk to it to make the mass more pliable. Grease with this mixture cakes and put them in the oven for 10-15 minutes.
Delicious!
