Malai cupcake with apple – ingredients:
Apple – 500 g
Corn flour – 140 g
Wheat flour – 140 g
Butter – 120 gYogurt for cupcake – 230 g
Sugar – 180 g
Chicken egg – 2 pcs.
Soda – 1 tsp
Salt – 1 pinch
Vanilla essence – to taste
Icing sugar – optional
Preparation:
Step 1
Apples for the “Malai” cake with an apple are better to take of hard, sweet-sour varieties. Eggs of medium size. Natural flavored yogurt. I have Greek. Form for 22-23 cm.
Step 2
Peel the apples and cut them into small pieces, about two centimeters.
If the apples are sweet, I always sprinkle them with lemon juice.
Step 3
For the “Malay” cake, beat butter with sugar until white.
Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each so that the eggs are completely mixed with the butter mass.
Add vanilla while beating.
Step 4
Dry ingredients for the cake – both types of flour, salt and baking soda – mix and alternately add to the oil-egg mixture with the yogurt, mixing at low speeds of the mixer.
Do not mix for a long time in any case, the cake will become dense.
Step 5
Heat the oven to 170 degrees. Line the bottom of the form with baking paper.
Grease the sides with oil and sprinkle with flour. Carefully mix the apples into the dough and transfer the cupcake to the mold.
Step 6
Bake the apple muffin for about an hour and be sure to check for a dry stick.
If you think the top is getting too brown, cover the top with foil.
Allow to cool.
Step 7
If desired, sprinkle with powdered sugar. “Malay” cake with apple and corn flour is ready.
Delicious!
