Usually, yeast dough is kneaded for pies, but we suggest you simplify the process and make quick pies on cheese dough. For the filling, we will take eggs, green onions and mushrooms (mushrooms or porcini mushrooms). Such pies will bring you back to your childhood, to the village, to your grandmother’s kitchen, where it always smelled delicious. They come out lush, ruddy and remain as fresh even after a day.
Quick pies – ingredients:
for the dough:
cheese 200 g
finely ground whole wheat flour 140 g
1 egg
sugar 2 teaspoons
soda 0.5 tsp
pinch of salt
rolling flour
for filling pies with mushrooms:
3 boiled eggs
fresh champignons or mushrooms 300 g
a large bunch of green onions
Preparation:
Step 1.
For pies with mushrooms and egg, sift flour, add soda, salt, sugar, egg and cheese to it, knead the dough. It will be a little sticky and soft. Roll it into a ball and leave it while you prepare the filling.

Step 2.
For the filling of “5 minutes” pies, boil eggs, peel and chop. Clean and chop the mushrooms. If you use mushrooms, do not wash them, this will only make them watery. Chop the onion and mix it with eggs and mushrooms, salt to your taste.

Step 3.
Divide the pie dough into 20 equal balls. Roll out each one, put the filling (1.5 tablespoons) on the resulting blank and form a patty, pinching the edges with a pigtail.

Step 4.
Heat the vegetable oil in a pan and fry the quick patties until golden brown on both sides!
Delicious!
